14th Annual Scientific Conference
The IEG will be hosting the 14th Annual European Elasmobranch Association Conference in Galway, 10th-13th November 2010.
This international conference provides an opportunity to showcase elasmobranch research currrently being undertaken in Ireland, Europe and further afield. The EEA welcomes contributions dealing with all aspects of chondrichthyan biology including life-history, population biology, genetic studies and taxonomy.

Abstract submission opens – 30th April
Abstract submission closes – 31st May
Abstracts reviewed – 30th June
Registration Opens – 31st May
Registration closes – 31st July (Late registration (incurs €40 fee) closes – 31st August)
Welcome reception – 10th November
Scientific conference – 11th-12th November
Conference dinner – 12th November
Please note that during the conference dinner, there will be an auction to raise funds for next
years student bursaries. So please don't forget to bring any items of a marine nature that can
be auctioned on the night.
